Tour of Gunsite Firearms Training Facility We were given a tour of Gunsite firearms training facility, just west of Paulden, Arizona, about twenty miles north of Prescott Gunsite was founded in 1976 by Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper, author, columnist, professor, WW II and Korean War combat veteran. Col. Cooper intended Gunsite to be the vehicle for spreading the Modern Technique of the Pistol, which he created Gunsites operation covers 2000 acres, with modern facilities, large classrooms, a fully stocked Pro Shop and a full-service gunsmith operation for clients only. Gunsite has a variety of different ranges purpose-built for our class offerings, including outdoor and indoor simulators, a 400 yard KD rifle range, an unknown distance range, and various steel ranges for specific purposes. Most of the target arrays move, turn, run, pop-up or appear and disappear. awesome, glad it helped. .
we are hooked, this place is even better than we imagined, I would jump at the chance to take any training there
Good luck getting into the next classes then, hope you have a great time
I had planned to take the shotgun course and ladies pistol course this past spring but classes filled quickly. I’m glad I found your video, to get an idea of the facilities and layout. Thanks!
thanks but someone beat us to that idea. . they do offer a series of DVDs available at the Pro-Shop
Wow always wanted to attend a clas there, didn’t know it was so big these days. You should speak to them about teaming up on a series of short instructional videos.
ok here let take another wild guess. criminals still find a way to use a gun even though they are not allowed to have one. and if i wasn’t a gun it would be a knife. Finland has more firearms per person than any other country. do you know what the weapon of choice is ? a knife. a bit more steathy i’m guessing
wow amazing facility totaly amazing i would kill to be able to visit that place it looks like my verson of what heaven would look like if i ever get the opertunity to go there i think i would be unable to bring myself to leaving haha i love the video cant waight for the next one keep them comeing man
very neat! Definitely a place I am interested in taking classes at some day
100% true, in fact, Civil Guard (those who decide if you can have the license) only gives them to rich ppl, like those who have jewel shops, banks etc.
If you’re a common worker, you better forget it.
That’s not fair :/
wait. . did you mean “far too few”, or am I reading that wrong
thanks, it was as much fun as just about any other video we’ve made so far
You bet, that was cool IMO
the camera may not be perfect, but it did make that shot of the flag super cool
thanks, but just to be clear. . they are not a sponsor of ours
We were given a tour, and allowed to post the video, but they do not support us monetarily at all
We are honored to be given the opportunity to visit and review such a prestigious firearms school
We do hope our video helps make more people aware of Gunsite and their awesome variety of professional classes and training
so that basically says the life of an affluent person is more important than those who have less.
excellent tour, thanks. fantastic facility, great diversity of training facilities. really liked the vid, great work!
The sun was black did yo see that?
thanks for the tour and thanks to gunsite for making your vids possible
we don’t have any license in the US
some states or cities require permits, but most of the country doesn’t require anything like that
To carry concealed you might need a permit depending on where you live
In my state 35 USD for the license and then again every 4 years to renew it.
My pistol license was $99 dollars which was a one time fee only. Rifles don’t need one.
how much “costs” the gun license in USA? Have been researching info here in Spain and here costs 2000 Euro (if by a divine action they decide to allow you) and then another 200 euro for medical license, then the pistol, then the ammo. . . .
Omg I hate this xD
ohh man my spellin is jsut shit. . . like i was saying good to c yo gettin in the mood. . . and yeah pls post the fun house. . .
good Idea. . if I would have been thinking I would have zoomed in on each of the targets. .
It was a spur of the moment thing though
I am gonna post the shoot house as a separate video, I think it it cool
just north of Prescott check out their link in our video notes
I miss Jeff Cooper 1911 ,Mr. Skeeter Skelton,Mr. Bill Jordan and Mr. Elmer Keith. I’m glad his legacy lives on. Best video yet. Thank yo. 5*s.
my. . that’s a huge place
